Compact – versatile and robust
Minimalist with clean lines on the outside, strong and compact on the inside. Multiple inner layers soaked in resin come together under high pressure to form a solid worktop with a characteristic black core. The modern, textured surface feels pleasant to the touch. It is extremely difficult for liquids and grease to soak into the worktop and stain it. This prevents the worktop from becoming misshapen while keeping it water-resistant and hygienic. The precise manufacturing process guarantees remarkably even colouring and texture. Authentic materials for a long life cycle: Systemo’s worktops use natural materials that have been additionally processed in order for them to meet the high standards required in the kitchen.
Cut and scratch resistant
Compact worktops are highly robust and therefore ideal for everyday use in the kitchen. The material used and the special processing methods make their surfaces highly resistant to scratches and cut marks. A chopping board should always be used to protect the surface when cutting up food.
Safe for use with foods
The surface of the compact worktop is hygienic and suitable for direct contact with food. Its antibacterial finish largely prevents the development of mould and bacteria, allowing food to be stored or prepared on the worktop itself.
Pressure and shock resistant
The compact worktop is made of a very hard, pressure-resistant material. As with other materials, impacts should be avoided to prevent damage. When cleaning the kitchen, you should refrain from supporting your weight on the worktop as this can subject it to too high a load, especially around thin strips. This can result in the formation of cracks.
Acid resistant
Compact worktops are resistant to conventional household acids such as citric acid, mustard, acetic acid and many cleaning products.
Non-absorbent
Systemo compact worktops boast a closed HPL (high-pressure laminate) surface and are therefore moisture resistant. As a result, liquids (e.g. oil) do not leave any permanent marks. Even smaller blemishes, such as fat spatter near the hob or coffee cup stains, can be easily removed.

Flush installation is a hallmark of modern kitchen design. The Systemo compact worktop is ideal for creating smooth transitions between the sink and the worktop – hygienic, visually perfect and with no sharp edges.
Undermount sink installation
The distinctive black edge of the 1.2-cm-thick worktop stylishly frames the undermount sink, while the compact worktop extends over it. As a result, there are no height differences or gaps in the surface, making the worktop in the sink area easy to clean.
Edge finishing
The compact worktop has a continuous black core with a visible edge which forms the design feature of this material. Alternatively, the compact worktop can be planned with a thick edge and chamfer in a matching decor to achieve a uniform look.
Worktop sizes
Systemo compact worktops come in a maximum size of 400 x 120 cm. This large format makes the Systemo compact worktop ideal for use in the kitchen as it allows the creation of expansive layouts with few butt joints.
